Building the team
Hiring editors and creatives, and growing a vetted freelancer network for extra capacity.
Building creative teams, business systems and AI-powered workflows for modern brands.
Umair started as a video editor and built Vortex Xcel around what he learned: great creative work needs a strong team, clear processes and the right technology behind it.

Umair's foundation is creative work: editing long-form YouTube, Shorts and motion graphics, and growing his own YouTube channel past 50K subscribers with the same editing systems he now uses for clients.
As the work grew, the job changed. Instead of editing every video himself, he built a team of editors, set the standards they work to, and took ownership of client relationships. That team became Vortex Xcel.
Today his focus is the company itself: the people, the workflows and the internal tools that let Vortex Xcel deliver consistently, and a growing use of AI and automation to run it better.
Thinks in years, not projects: build something that lasts and keeps improving.
An editor first, so quality is judged from real experience, not from a distance.
Turns what works into repeatable processes, so results don't depend on one person.
Clear communication, honest timelines and long-term partnerships.
Umair's role is to build the structure that lets a team deliver high-quality work consistently, then keep improving it. The next step for Vortex Xcel is using AI where it creates real value.
The approach to AITechnology should make a good team faster and more consistent, not replace the judgement that makes creative work good.
I don't just manage a company. I build the systems that make it run.Muhammad Umair, Founder & CEO
